About me

Iam a freelance art director, based in Hamburg and Lisbon. I have been working in digital and print communication since 2001, coming up with ideas, developing concepts, and creating human centered designs for brands large and small. Iam particularly interested in the way user interface design interacts with the user experience, and the relationship between corporate design and brand experience. I believe good design demands creativity and accuracy in solving a problem visually and functionally.

I obtained my Master of Arts at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts (Hochschule für Bildende Künste), where I majored in photography and video, followed by post-graduate studies in visual communication in Los Angeles. Returning to Germany, I joined Interone Worldwide as art director, leading design teams, co-ordinating complex projects or carrying out photo shoots. As an UI/ UX Designer Iam very familiar with agile process management. I use ideation methods such as Design Thinking to find solutios which respond to human needs and user feedback. I have been working freelance since 2007.
